In 1968 Erich Fromm supported the anti-war candidate Eugene McCarthy in his Presidential Primary Run. I have thought about who Erich Fromm would have supported today, if anyone. This process only took a few moments.

Bernie Sanders, with his relatively high level of intuition, has gone a long way toward effectively squaring the hexagon in the US culture. He has done this in what seems to be a matter of a few months. To be sure, he does appear to have the highest level of intuition of any Presidential candidate in either The Democrat or Republican Party. Intuition does correlate with intelligence. Bernie Sanders is not the most intelligent person running, however. Donald Trump and likely Ben Carson each seem more intelligent.

In 1986 I wrote “Holland’s Theory: Strengthening It”. My dissertation factor analysis results published in 1992 supported the aforementioned paper written in 1986 as an assignment in a graduate school class in 1986 which could be thought of as and has been identified as a “Theory Of Social Change”. In the paper, Holland’s Theory: Strengthening It, there is a section stating that after the hexagon is squared that the square will then become smaller. From Page 8: “The smaller the square, the more similar interpersonal relations will approach intrapersonal relations.”

Can an apparent lifetime of work become a moment in 2016 for this Presidential Candidate who has a relatively high level of intuition? His wife was recently asked to described him in one word and she said “integrity”. While Bernie Sanders has helped square the hexagon the question remains is how small can he and others help make the square? Readers are encouraged to read the paper written in 1986 and previously published in The Hygiology Post ® in its entirety.
