The Bureau of Labor Statistics (www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm; retrieved on 10-6-12) released information showing that the unemployment rate dropped in September 2012 from 8.1% to 7.8%. Here is an excerpt :

THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION -- SEPTEMBER 2012

The unemployment rate decreased to 7.8 percent in September, and total nonfarm
payroll employment rose by 114,000, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported
today. Employment increased in health care and in transportation and warehousing
but changed little in most other major industries."

According to information obtained on the the GE web site under Past Leaders here is an except https://www.ge.com/company/history/bios/john_welch.html; obtained on 10-6-12) from an apparent biography of Jack Welch :

“Mr. Welch, a native of Salem, Massachusetts, served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Electric (GE) from 1981-2001. During his 20 years of leadership in this position, Welch increased the value of the company from $13 billion to several hundred billion.”

Later in the article this paragraph was written :

“In 1999, Fortune named him the ‘Manager of the Century,’ and the Financial Times recently named him one of the three most admired business leaders in the world today.”

Jack Welch posted the following message on Twitter (according to both news sources and apparently seemingly confirmed by Jack Welch himself per his verbalizations at his appearance on MSNBC Hardball on 10-5-12) about 5 minutes after the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the aforementioned information to the public about the US “Employment Situation” : “Unbelievable jobs numbers…these Chicago guys will do anything…can’t debate so change numbers.”

While on MSNBC Hardball with host Chris Matthews on 10-5-12 Jack Welch stated : “I don’t take back any part of that tweet.”

Later while on the CNN television show Anderson Cooper 360 Jack Welch said : “I should have put a question mark on the end of that [tweet], let’s face it.”

It does seem that based upon his biography/work history Jack Welch likely has an E (Enterprising; as the first or primary) Holland Code. One specific way to understand the above mentioned message or Tweet in question of his is to review The Hygiology Post Six Part Series articles and in particular, the Healthy Change : Part Six articles (e.g.,  Healthy Change : Part Six — The Hygiology Post Incrementally Presents a Theory of Social Change — Page three of the Theory and Page Five of Fourteen Pages Overall of “Holland’s Theory : Strengthening It” © 1986) posted on 2-3-2012. Mr. Welch may have been behaving in a political manner toward President Barack Obama Jr.

The Holland Code Type of President Barack Obama Jr. Type has been (see Healthy Change : Part Five — Some Prescriptions For Productive Goals, #9, US Presidential Election President Barack Obama Jr. Example posted on 10-2-2011) characterized as being relatively undifferentiated containing A (Artistic), I (Investigative), and S (Social) as a primary or first Holland Code in jobs/occupations he has had in addition to E (Enterprising) :

“Holland Code : The primary Holland Code(s) appear to be relatively undifferentiated (especially prior to 3/2003). The author could not find a Holland Code for Neighborhood Development Worker or Community Organizer in the Occupations Finder. The three letter “Interest code” for Urban and Regional Planners (https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/19-3051.00; obtained on 11-17-2011) is IEA (Investigative, Enterprising, Artistic). The author could not find a Holland Code for; Professor; Professor, Constitutional Law; or Lecturer, Law School; in the Occupations Finder. The three letter “interest code” for Law Teachers, Postsecondary is SIE (Social, Investigative, Enterprising) at O*NET ONLINE (https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/25-1112.00; obtained 11-17-2011).  In Appendix B Self-Directed Search Form R The Occupations Finder (found in “Making Vocational Choices” Third Edition, copyright 1973, 1985, 1992, 1997 by Psychological Assessment Resources Inc. Pages 267-271) the three letter code for ; Lawyer is ESI (Enterprising, Social, Investigative);  Politician is ESA (Enterprising, Social, Artistic); and Writer, Prose, Fiction, and Nonfiction is AIE (Artistic, Investigative, Enterprising).

It is estimated that he would have somewhere between a relatively medium to a relatively high level of Intuition.”
